Chromebook Could Pinch Microsoft?

A lot of licensing expert stated that Google’s Chromebook subscription could pinch Microsoft in the next near time. Do you also believe it?

Let’s compare it with what Microsoft offered!
Google announced June 15, as launch date of Chromebook. Chromebook will initially be available from Acer and Samsung.
Chromebook subscription would be $336 a year, plus another $50 for Google Apps. While, Microsoft costs between $300 and $375 a year, depending on volume.
They include: Windows upgrade, Office Pro, and a client management license for System Center Configuration Manager. It shows Chromebook has more potential revenue. Of course this is still our guessing, how much cost Google will offer its services.

There will no longer need to be costly software qualifications, because softwares is browser-based apps, and you could get update easily. Chromebook subscription goes further, providing instant cloud service/applications and Chrome OS update, that of course could save your cost.

Based on above description, it’s really possible for Google’s Chromebook to take out of Microsoft’s purse. Interested? Prices start at $349, for notebooks with Intel Atom dual-core processors. ^_^
