Bypass Proxy Using Ultrasurf on Ubuntu

Finally I can find another way to bypass proxy through my Ubuntu. Before I guessed, it was difficult to bypass proxy through my Ubuntu, because I was unable to find any bypassing software, available for Linux. I already used bypassing website, but I really hated it. The connection, getting slower. Hmm.

On my Windows 7, I already used Ultrasurf, and it can run well. I don't believe it can run on my Ubuntu, although using Wine. After reading on someone's blog, named http://abhijaypatne.wordpress.com, it seemed my perception was wrong.

Wow, Ultrasurf can run well on my Ubuntu. How to install Ultrasurf? Just follow these simple steps :
  1. Install Wine through Ubuntu Software Center.
  2. Download required .dll files (mfc42.dll ,msvcp60.dll) from www.dll-fixer.com.
  3. Copy both .dll files into :

    ~/.wine/drive_c/windows/system
    ~/.wine/drive_c/windows/system32

*) To find folder .wine/, open /home first and press Ctrl+H to find the hidden folders.
  4. Download Ultrasurf
  5. Run Ultrasurf
  6. Configure network on your browser.

Begin for browsing. Remember to be wise for improper website content. ^^
